Oyo State Government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports organises A Day Training for Youths in Ibarapa Zone
Early this year, the Nigerian Export Promotion Council held a stakeholders meeting in Abuja where States were encouraged to key into the new idea of introducing the Youth to Non-Oil Export Business, promote the initiative and replicate same at State level.
As the Pacesetter State, Oyo State is the first to implement this programme — This was born out of the concern and committment of the Gov. Seyi Makinde Led Administration to Human Capital Development, Youth Engagement/Empowerment and Socio-economic Development. This first phase of this training was held in Ibadan on Wednesday, 2nd of September 2020 with about 60 participants.
For the second phase, holding in the Ibarapa Zone, Oyo State Government is again set to host over 50 participants pulled, strictly from the Ibarapa Zone to a day Training on Non-Oil Export Business for Economic Diversification at the Methodist Grammar School Hall, Igboora.
